We are on our way down to Key West for the winter and got word that our 37' 5th wheel had about 3-4 feet of water around it. I don't know how much damage was done to the inside but all the storage compartments were flooded. I had about 1500.00 worth of tools in the compartments and those are probably lost. Not too sure where my boat is either. and my storage trailer had all of our outdoor stuff in it had 4 feet of water in it too. We are heading to Key West tomorrow and hopefully the water didn't get into the living area of the trailer.. Gary |

Gary, I hope all works out somehow. It seems like so many of my freiends down that direction are having to deal with this onslaught of huricanes. I wish you well...let us know how things are going, ok? |

Sorry to read about this, Gary. Hopefully once you make it back down there you'll be able to recover and salvage a fair amount of your belongings. We got lucky here in Houston with Rita. Speaking of Wilma's bite, hey Don, you okay up there? I hear that Wilma's joined up with a local weather pattern up there to turn into something of a perfect-storm-style Nor'easter with high winds and tons of rain. Gary, as one who has recently experienced a hurricane, I feel for you. Except we seem to have fared better than you. Hope the trailer is ok, but tools can be replaced, right? (With better ones!) Blessings to you, Steve |

Yes, they can be replaced and the trailed can be replaced if it needs to be. It is a Carriage Xtrm5 5 slide 5th wheel that is only 2 years old. But there are people a lot worse off than me. We are going down in the morning and when I can get access again I will post another reply.. Thanks Guys Gary |

I feel for you gary, Last January I lost my F-150 Supercrew and Volkswagen convertible when a bad storm came through our parts and knocked a 60' eucalyptus on them. Best wishes, Ed. |

Try Navel Jelly. It works wonders removing rust. You should take steel brush to the tool to remove all loose rust. |
